PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Alpha 8® #204 is a premium quality, water - based, elastomeric acrylic caulk. It is designed to maintain outstanding performance characteristics for many years, remaining flexible, weather - resistant, and well adhered. Only the highest quality raw materials are used to produce Alpha 8® #204. Production is rigidly controlled to assure consistent quality in every batch. Alpha 8® #204 is an ideal compound for both trowelable and brushable use. Alpha 8® #204 is an excellent product for filling holes or cracks in wood and masonry or around joints and flashings. Due to its unique formulation, it cures to a durable finish with excellent flexibility over a wide temperature range, and has superior adhesion to many surfaces. |

Safe to Use : Alpha 8® #204 is a water - based acrylic caulk which contains no solvents. It is not flammable, like some solvent - based caulking compounds. Easy to Use : Alpha 8® #204>may be applied by trowel, putty knife, or standard caulking gun. The caulk can be tooled immediately. Use Alpha 8® #204for trowel and brush application. All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of oil, loose debris, or contaminants which would interfere with proper adhesion. If the depth of a joint exceeds 1/2", use a dry, non - asphaltic back - up filler material. Alpha 8® #204 is ready to use, and because it is water - based, there are no clean - up problems. Before curing, excess caulk can be removed with a damp cloth. After curing, it may be cut or scraped away. Contact your Ace Coating Company Technical Representative for detailed application recommendations. Limitations : Alpha 8® #204 should not be applied at temperatures below 50 deg. F, or if weather conditions will not permit drying before rain, dew, or freezing temperatures. Cool temperatures and high humidity retard cure.
